Yesterday we saw Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tie the knot and many tuned into the spectacular event. Comments were made about the various outfits donned for the special occasion and the queen was no exception in her Lemon/Lime outfit with purple accents. I couldn’t resist creating a card using these colour tones as it is the perfect spring colour palette.
The outside was stamped using Concord & 9th’s Wreath Turnabout (and I have to say this is super easy to use!) along with inks from the Aladine IZINK range – full list of supplies below. A window was created and then the other wreath stamp option used on the inside with Memento inks and Aladine Embossing powders.
Once the card was closed it gave a peak of the message inside.
I hope you found inspiration from all the fashionable outfits worn to the big day too!

Hi and welcome to my blog, I love to share my creations with Spellbinders and Explore Beyond, my inspiration for this card came from the recent posts on the main Spellbinders blog, where the designers were working with different labels!
This project was created using Penny Black’s Dahlia Dance 4380K, Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black and Dandelion Inks, Chameleon Alcohol Pens Orange Red and Olive, May Arts Silk Ribbon and Spellbinders Labels Twenty Five S5-077, Labels Twenty Eight S5-127, 5 x 7″ Matting Basics A and B S6-001 and Floral Ovals S4-356, Dotted Paper, Green Orange and White card and pearls.
Can you believe that this image was coloured using only two pens and I just love how the label dies frame the flower!
Hi, I am back with a card I created quite a while ago for one of my Husband’s colleagues, who wanted something special to accompany the ring for a proposal for marriage….luckily the recipient said YES!
To create this card
Hero Arts Gracious Lady (G2811) was stamped onto cream card using Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko Tuxedo Black ink, coloured with Copics and cut out. I hand cut a scalloped doily from lace fabric to mount behind the image. Three roses were made from felt using Spellbinders Bitty Blooms and the two hearts were cut from mountboard using Sizzix Doodle Dies Hearts and overstamped with the tail of the bird from Penny Blacks Sweet Melody Stamp set. The background was stamped and clear embossed onto cream card using Penny Black Bed of Roses and then rubbed over with Memento Tuxedo black ink. A With love printed ribbon was added to the bottom and a double bow made from satin ribbon.

I recently went to a stamping and scrapbook show and came across a range of stamps made by Stampscapes, the purpose of the stamp designs are to help you create scenic images by using and overlapping their stamps and then colouring them in. This is my first attempt at creating an image using the stamps.
To create this card I used the following products:
Stampscapes Boulders with Litchen205F, Pine Tree 196F and Water Pattern 231C, Art Impressions WC Silhouettes A-2729, Grass Clump AA-1375 and Jumbo Grass Stalks I3007. Semi Gloss Coated White card and Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko Memento inks Tuxedo Black, Summer Sky, London Fog and Espresso Truffle, Kaleidacolor Dessert Heat and Memento Luxe Wedding Dress inks and Ink Potion no.9. Copic White and a fine liner pen were used to create highlights and the birds.
